The role of Environment Expert is pivotal to the success of the KSWMP. As an Environment Expert, you will be responsible for leading environmental activities and ensuring sustainable waste management practices. Your expertise will directly contribute to the health and sustainability of Kerala’s environment.
Qualifications and Experience Required
To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: A Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Planning, Natural Resources Management, Environmental Studies, Environmental Sciences, Ecology, or a related field.
- Work Experience: A minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to environmental activities. Experience as a consultant or working in an institution dealing with environmental concerns is essential.
- Additional Skills: Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office, is mandatory. Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Malayalam are required. Candidates with prior experience in environmental activities related to the World Bank, ADB, or other Multilateral Development Banks will have an added advantage.
- Age Limit: The maximum age limit for applicants is 60 years as of 01.09.2024.
