Age Limit (with Relaxation for Reserved Categories)
- Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant): Age 18–30 as of November 14, 2024. Born between November 15, 1994, and November 14, 2006 (inclusive).
- Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant): Age 18–40 as of November 14, 2024. Born between November 15, 1984, and November 14, 2006 (inclusive).
- Super Specialist Medical Officers (Second-in Command): Age 18–50 as of November 14, 2024. Born between November 15, 1974, and November 14, 2006 (inclusive).
Required Educational Qualifications
- For Specialist and Medical Officers:
- Must possess a degree in the Allopathic System of Medicine.
- Enrollment with the Medical Council of India is required.
- A Postgraduate Degree or Diploma in the relevant specialty as per the Indian Medical Association (IMA) is necessary.
- For Super Specialist Medical Officers:
- Must hold an MBBS degree and be enrolled with the Medical Council.
- A PG Degree or Diploma in the relevant specialty as per IMA is required.
Physical Standards
Male Candidates
- Height: Minimum of 157.5 cm
- Chest: 77 cm (unexpanded) and 82 cm (expanded)
Female Candidates
- Height: Minimum of 142 cm

- SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen/Female Candidates: No application fee
