The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has announced a recruitment notification for the engagement of a Bank Medical Officer (BMO) on a contract basis. The position is for the dispensary located at the NABARD Complex, VIP Road, Sri Vijaya Puram. Interested and eligible candidates can apply before 24th January 2025.

- Remuneration: Rs. 1000/- per hour for the first three years, and Rs. 1200/- per hour thereafter.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must possess an MBBS degree in the allopathic system of medicine from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- Postgraduate degree holders in General Medicine can also apply.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Practitioner in any hospital or clinic is required.
- Residence:
- Applicants should have their own dispensary or place of residence within a 3-5 km radius from the NABARD premises.
Selection Process:
- The selection will be based on an interview conducted by the NABARD, Andaman & Nicobar Regional Office.
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo medical tests and must submit a Medical Fitness Certificate before engagement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The BMO will be responsible for providing medical attention and advice to the staff, administering injections, issuing order forms for special drugs, and arranging prophylactic inoculations. The officer may also be required to visit staff residences and refer cases to specialists when necessary.
