Finance Senior Manager
Job: Full Time
Location: Dubai, UAE

The position

As APAC Senior Finance Manager and together with the team, you will be responsible for the overall Finance planning calendar, coordination, consolidation, and challenge of input from the Business areas and elevated affiliates for all financial reporting including AB/RE budgets as well as BSC processes.

You will demonstrate your Finance systems and business intelligence expertise, e.g., SAP BO and STAR platform, and you will champion and participate in improvement projects and sharing of best practices across APAC in our ongoing efforts to simplify and ensure agility.

In addition to preparing ad-hoc financial analysis and presentations to various stakeholders including the Director FP&A, VP of Finance & Operation and APAC Management, you will play an active role in the ongoing monitoring and analysis of the business performance as well as propose/initiate and follow up on appropriate corrective actions. Based on this, you will actively take part in decision making and allocation of resources to areas that will continue to drive growth in APAC region.

As an integral business partner in the finance, you are expected to invest significant time and effort in supporting and working alongside affiliate colleagues of all levels across the region. You will be a key interface between elevated affiliate, business area, regional and corporate headquarters ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.

Additionally, you will act as a key finance partner to the functional heads in the regional office and ensure smooth and transparent planning and follow up.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in finance or equivalent and minimum 5-7 years relevant work experience within Finance.

You have a proven track record in budget processes, financial analysis, reporting and possess strong analytical skills, are very proactive and have a sound functional knowledge within controlling, reporting etc.

You have a quality mindset, are open-minded, a fast learner and fluent in both written and spoken English. You are willing to travel up to 10% of your working time within the region to drive projects across APAC, participate in Finance meetings, provide support in the budget process, and share best practices.
