POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a Global Immigration Associate to join our growing Immigration team. This position is to be based in our Dubai office. This full-time position will be responsible for providing local assisting with visa applications in the United Arab Emirates and supporting applications in other Middle East and African countries. The right candidate will have great attention to details and thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a strong inclination towards customer service, plus a passion for all things international. This individual will report to our Global Immigration Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and/or process visa applications through different government portals in Dubai, including various Dubai Freezones (i.e. DMCC, Tecom) and Dubai Mainland (i.e. Tas’heel, GDRFA)
Manage Residence visa application process for dependent family members
Process transactions at various immigration departments such as Amer, Tawjeeh Centres, including coordinating and accompanying employees and dependents where needed for medical examinations, biometrics etc.
Manage legalization and translation of documents
Preparing certificates such as experience letters, NOC’s, acknowledgment letters etc.
Record keeping and scanning of documents
Keep up to date with business visa requirements within the EMEA region and assist with obtaining visas from different Embassies for business related travels in the EMEA region
Provide guidance on immigration regulatory changes in the Middle East, particularly for employment-related visas and permits
Administrative support for the international team, e.g. bill processing, database management

QUALIFICATIONS

At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role in Dubai
Experience and knowledge of requirements within some Dubai freezones and Dubai Mainland
Proficient knowledge of English (written & spoken) is a must
Spoken and written Arabic preferred; ability to translate documents would be beneficial, but not crucial
Bachelor’s degree or relevant accreditation / certificates
Excellent networking and interpersonal skills
Good influencing skills
